The KA2 Erasmus+ „CHED – Chess platform for deaf people” project met the goal to develop the assessment instrument to validate the chess learning of the trained platform users.

The assessment is an important section of the platform through which access the training. It’s available before and after modules, stimulating the users’ metacognition, raising awareness about their knowledge and self-confidence in chess. They can also learn more and fix concepts making the quizzes, which constitute others learning tools. The assessment will also stimulate their desire to be more integrated in chess, for example participating in national/international competitions or becoming a trainer.

As all the developed material, the assessment tools have been prepared accordingly to the initiation, basic, intermediate and advanced training levels. This continuity started from the first project result, the report about the current situation of the access to sport and to chess, the curriculum and lists of skills, as well as the training courses. The training, the lists of skills and the assessment are integrated in the chess platform, accessible through this link.
